Growing strawberries can be a fun and satisfying experience! If you are a beginner gardener, strawberries are one of the easiest fruits to grow. Homegrown strawberries are far more flavorful than the store-bought ones because the sugar in them converts to starch soon after they are picked.

Participants will learn about different types and varieties of strawberries and how to care for the plants- from planting to harvesting, soil preparation, pest control and companion planting suggestions. Jarmila will also provide information for growing strawberries in containers. This is great way to grow strawberries for limited or small spaces!
